Permanent Contract AAH Pharmaceuticals – Delivery Drivers

PAY RATE:

£10.78 per hour plus benefits

CONTRACT TYPE:

Permanent contract – immediate start

SHIFTS:

Up to 45 hours per week (shift start and finish times may vary).

Full and Part Time roles available

What you’ll do:

As one of our delivery drivers, you will have a busy and active role:

• Act as the face of our business, representing AAH to our customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensure our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition
• Be accountable for completing all the paperwork associated with each delivery, return or collection including using electronic tracking scanners
• Maintaining the safety and security of our stock whilst in transit
• Working as part of team to continuously improve the way we work

You will be part of a network of branches that ensures patients, hospitals and chemists across the country receive their medical requirements every day and making a difference to people’s lives – it’s not just a job!

• Full current and valid Driving License held for minimum of 2 years is essential.
• Experience of dealing with customers face to face would be advantageous.
• Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
• Have attention to detail.
• An approachable person with clear communication skills.
• Be able to work well under pressure and to be flexible.
• Ability to manage your workload and manage time effectively.
• A proactive team player and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Truly committed to customer and patient services
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.

Natural progression from this role is readily available and could include developing into a Transport Supervisor or Team Leader role.
