About The Role

As an Accredited Checking Technician in one of our Community or Supermarket stores you will quickly become an integral part of the pharmacy team, with both colleagues and patients relying on you to offer excellent service, healthcare advice and support. Delivering top patient care to ensure they return time after time for all of their healthcare needs will be of top priority, and at the forefront of everything you do.

Some of your responsibilities will include, ensuring all prescriptions are endorsed, counted and filled accurately and provide dispensed medicines to customers according to correct protocols. Checking prescriptions accurately in line with standard operating procedures. Ensuring stock is received, stored and used for replenishment as appropriate and that stock rotations and date checks are carried out. Supporting the Pharmacy Manager in coaching the dispensary team effectively to develop capability and drive operational excellence

About You

To be a successful Accredited Checking Technician at LloydsPharmacy, you must possess excellent customer service and accuracy skills, as well as the drive and ambition to improve patient care at every opportunity. The opportunity to progress within LloydsPharmacy is vast, with support and guidance readily available to help you move into a range of roles within the wider business network.

We will only be able to consider you for this position if you have an NVQ 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification (or equivalent) and have completed your ACT qualification. You will also have to be willing to complete a short conversion module for a Lloyd’s Pharmacy certification. You must be an outgoing, hardworking and target orientated individual with excellent communication skills.
